What are the prerequisites for joining the server?

to join the server you need a few things:

• Minecraft Java Edition
• Java +21 (this is required by both of Minecraft and Neoforge)
• A Neoforge client v1.21.170
• our modpack, which you can installing using our updates resolver jar & state.txt found in #minecraft-changelog on our discord server

How do I install the modpack?

There are two main ways to install the modpack:

1. The manual method using the updates resolver jar:
   • Download the Neoforge client v1.21.170 and click on it to install it.
   • Download the updates-resolver.jar and state.txt from the #minecraft-changelog channel on our Discord server.
   • Ensure you have Java installed (version 21 or higher).
   • Place both files in a folder named mods inside your .minecraft directory.
   • Open a command prompt in the mods directory and run the command: java -jar updates-resolver.jar. This will download all necessary mods.if you do not know how to open cmd in the current directory you could alternatively run this bat file in your mods directory
2. The automatic method using the modpack installer:
   • Download the modpack installer (All in one installer) from the #minecraft-changelog channel on our Discord server.
   • Run the installer, which will automatically download neoforge and install all necessary mods for you.

I get a warning / crash report when I launch the game, what should I do?

there is a well known issue of a false warning that appears when our Updates.jar is in your mods folder just ignore it and click on proceed to main menu. you may disable the warning by moving the Updates.jar to somewhere else or deleting it. we recommend moving it to a different folder if you want to keep it for future use.

My minecraft is crashing, what should I do?

There are a few things you can check if your Minecraft is crashing:

• Ensure you have the correct version of Java installed (+21) if you have multiple versions of Java that could be the cause of the issue to check installed java versions open your cmd prompt and type java -version this should return the version of java installed on your system if you have to either delete them or modify your environment PATH variable to point to the correct version. a guide of how to do this can be found on internet or our discord server.
• Ensure you have the correct version of Neoforge installed (v1.21.170).
• Ensure your game is using at least 6-8GB of RAM. this is a very common issue because minecraft uses 2GB by default you have to change your settings to make it use more. you can change it from your minecraft launcher by editing the profile and changing default JVM arguments to -Xmx8G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M
• Ensure you have the correct version of the modpack installed without extra unreliable mods.

I am unable to connect to the server, what should I do?

If you are unable to connect to the server, there are a few things you can check:

• Ensure you have all the mods installed if there is any missing/extra non-client-side mod you won't be able to join. this scenario is possible if you have not logged in to the server for a while and the server has updated its mods.
• Ensure you have the correct version of Neoforge installed.
• Ensure your internet connection is stable this is a common issue that can cause connection problems.
• Check if the server is online and not undergoing maintenance or updates. Although this is rare, it can happen, we will report it on our discord server if it happens.

There are many mods there which mods should I start exploring first?

we don't have a specific order for you to explore the mods, but we recommend starting with the following:

• everlasting abilities: this mod adds a lot of new abilities to the game you can get abilities by killing mobs or exploring the world.
• scriptor magicka: this mod adds a lot of new spell books and relics to the game you can get them by exploring the world. The spells content could be shared with other players and can be used wit out having literally anything in your inventory, you just rely on sheer knowledge of the spell aka verbal magic.
• IceAndFire Community Edition: this mod adds a lot of new mobs to the game, including dragons, which are a major part of the mod. Dragons can be tamed and ridden, and they have their own unique abilities.
• sophisticated backpacks: this mod adds a lot of new backpacks to the game, which can be used to store items and resources. Backpacks can be upgraded with various upgrades, such as speed upgrades, storage upgrades, and more.
• sophisticated storage: this mod adds allows you to increase the capacity of your chests by upgrading them.
• Touhou Little Maid: A cute maid could make your life easier by helping you with various tasks, such as farming, mining, and more.
• Ars Nouveau, Mahou Tsukai : these mods add a lot of new magic spells and abilities to the game, which can be used to defeat enemies and explore the world.
• Mystic agriculture: your road to fortune, they say you could grow gold and diamonds but who knows if that is true or not, you can try it out yourself.
• Occultism : summon demons and use them to your advantage, this mod is fun to play with and can be used to create powerful items and abilities.

Some useful commands:

• /sethome : Set your home location to the current position.
• //home : Teleport to your home location.
• /tpa : Request to teleport to another player.
• /tpahere : Request another player to teleport to you.
• /re : Send a message in your team/party chat (if your are in any).
